I like my job because I can help people to do something very important in their lives that there sometimes aren't other solutions for. What do I mean? I recently helped one of my structured settlement customers structure a deal to raise the money from his annuity for his wife's experimental cancer treatments in Italy. The treatments were not covered by any health insurance plan, and there were no other sources of payment.

The deal I structured covered the anticipated medical costs and also included an allocation for expenses to travel to Europe for an extended period of time. My customer is currently undergoing treatment and she is responding very well and I pray for her often. I am very thankful for the opportunity to make a difference for my customers while earning a living for myself. I think my customer is relieved he and his wife of 27 years were able to choose the medical treatment she so desperately needed and be able to spend life in Europe together. It's a quality of life thing too. I do not think they would have had those options if it weren't for our funding group. How much is that worth? That's what makes me feel good about my job.
